It's definitely not unique. I know the "why" and hopefully when I rewatch with the English dub, a lot of the bad stuff will get fixed, but it's still dragon ball. One of if not THE most recognizable anime name. It's a bit shocking/upsetting that we get this result. I'm reading the manga chapters when they come out tho...toriyama has not lost his touch. Crisp fucking drawings.

gohan got beat

gohan lacks training he coudnt beat goku in god kaioken for sure but still for his level and the short training he got, he did really good

he might surpass goku in the tournament

don't think anyone is going to surpass goku in the tournament
i think gohan will reach his new form
but goku will also reach a new form. Goku is always one step ahead of everybody, he's always been the smartest fighter
also i miss Vegeta

ive enjoyed it so far. the filler episodes drag on and on....but once the action kicks in its good. people wanna complain about the animation quality, but imo its not that bad. its not just picture quality that makes a good show..its mostly the story that makes a good anime. DBS is still better then DBGT

It's still only been bad in filler episodes, something you keep disregarding for whatever reason.

I don't get why anyone cares. It's DB, not exactly a revolutionary show or anything we've continued watching for an amazing story. All of the episodes where good animation matters, have had good animation. Not sure why you're still watching if all you're going to do is bitch about it. Once again, I did the same with Berserk, found myself complaining about the animation after every episode because it made the show worse for me. Instead of watching something that was only going to make me complain, I quit watching... Pretty simple stuff.
