terranigma & illusion of gaia were pretty fun as far as snes roms go.
aion's awesome.. but not so awesome at the same time. there's not really any semblance of endgame content, just grinding shit so you can grind more shit, and then attend instances in a cycle each day, 'n wait for them to go on cooldown. the high lvl maps are all pve, and even the pvp gear can be gotten without participating in pvp at all. kinda gay.
i go rifting instead, but there's not a lot of players to kill, you end up with more lvl 50 faggots running around trying to cap your ass in a lvl 30 zone, than you do actual lvl 30 players. but the combat system's great, 'n the graphics're some of the best as far as mmos go. its just you'll invariably feel bored at one point or another. don't think i'd recommend it if you're low on cash. can google infiniteaion if you wanna try it out just to see though.
I heard a lot about terrnigma and illusion of gaia....I might give them a spin.
One of my close friends tried out aion and all he ever did was go rifting....(Me and my close friends are all part of a small hardcore pvp clan that hops games pretty often, they are on darkfall right now owning up)
We never really could exceed at anything pve though, lol....the guy who always played a healer for us had the attn span of a 13 yr old with ADD on a sugar rush.
Sounds pretty interesting though.
But out of curiosity, did any of you sign up for the FF14 beta like me? That would be kinda fun to try, I figured....I never played the original FF mmo because I heard bad things about it, and I was too busy with shadowbane.
