unless you only go up exactly one size every 4-6 months it will hurt.

also the risk of getting infected or getting scar tissue if you jump too many sizes

i'd stretch while its still cold it makes it hurt less when youre outside. hurts the first week and stops but maintenance is a bitch. if you don't clean it it starts smelling both ear and earring
