Looking for a martial arts / samurai or ninja anime.
I prefer no kind of comedy in it, or atleast as small possible.

Considering baki the grapler if thats any good?
Other then that more suggestions are welcome.

Already seen basilisk, shura no tiki , samurai x, samurai 7, ninja scrolls, cant seem to remember the rest.

Seen Samurai Champloo yet? It's pretty good.

Already seen it but cant say i liked it.

How about Samurai Deeper Kyo or Samurai Gun? The former is sorta like Rurouni Kenshin and the latter is more serious. But since you've already seen the Trust & Betrayal OVAs, it's hard to top that.

These look more interesting, cheers for input Saviour.

Shigurui is nice.
Peacemaker Kurogane is ok.

Found samurai champloo one of the most boring animes ive ever watched for some reason...
Nice artwork and all though, but really disliked this one.
Will probarly check out Shigurui when im done with Samurai Kyo.

If you don't mind watching a movie and not a series, http://myanimelist.net/anime/2418/Sword_of_the_Stranger this is pretty good. There is a bit of comedy but its minimal iirc but its outweighed by the action.

have u seen the Ninja scrolls series or movie? if you've only seen the series i highly suggest checking out the movie. the series was a huge fail compared to it.
