i think the background of the squads and the zanpaktous arent boring at all ~~

i liked the episode too.. i always thought yamichi or w/e the pretty boy's name is didn't want to show his zanpakutou to ikaku and his squad because he didn't want them to see how strong he is.... but it turns out it's because it's a kidou based zanpakotou... and it makes complete sense now!

he said before that it was a kidou based one near the very beginning of the series (can't remember who he was fighting) but he explained before that he miscalls its name to hide that it's a kidou based one. This was just the first time they showed the release and what exactly it does. Still interesting tho
