Just seems like they're trying to get into the tourney quicker. I'd rather that, then 20 days of training episodes like in the past. YYH did it all the time and it worked. 1 to 2 episodes of training them 30 for a tourney.

Yeah, I don't understand people complaining about the saga being rushed. Would you rather a lot of filler episodes?

i dont think its so much it being rushed, just the sudden leaps in power and inconsistencies. sometimes shit just dont make sense lol

Yu Yu Hakusho. Same shit. Main guy would go to train and even in the same episode it'd be like "2 months past and there now on their way to the tournament" and then you get like 30 episodes of epic fighting in a row. Better than how DB was before with 20-30 episodes of just boring shit while Goku trains, scrubs train, scrubs get wrecked, goku shows up.

Ya, it's stupid, but a lot of DB is. It's all about Goku/Vegeta now. Lets just wait until the tourney, see how shit goes down and be pumped for it. Or we can bitch about it if it's terrible, but I think we all know it's going to be fucking amazing.

Oh ok. Yea for sure next episode looks amazing. I really hope the tournament doesnt end as quick as last. I hope we get atleast 10 eps out of it. Maybe this tournament could also be a way of bringing the gang back together aswell.

I just watched it for the first time (buddy has been bugging me for like 2 years to watch it and I finally did). Last arc was complete trash, but it's a good show. Bit dated, but I enjoyed it. Some of the fights are pretty impressive for how old the anime is, and it's your quintessential shonen that kinda helped lay the way for all the others, just like DB did. I was insanely surprised by how they did the training shit though. Straight up, it'd be 1/2 to 2 episodes maximum for massive preparation going into some epic shit. I LOVED THAT! Fuck the training lol. I mean, if it's super intense training, or complicated and exciting to see, sure, but watching Goku chase around a monkey and a fucking cricket, not exactly exciting, or watching him train by himself in a space ship for 10 episodes etc.... It all gets so fucking boring. I love how YYH just said fuck all that noise, lets get to the good shit and I feel like super is doing the same thing. It doesn't have to make sense, all that matters is that the ride is enjoyable and I think that most of us can agree that we've been enjoying the ride thus far. This shit is going to be epic.

Last arc of yuyu was rushed pretty badly. Didn't think it was to bad though . The dark tournament was dope as fuck though . Kurama ftw
