I just finished Kekkaishi.

I enjoyed this anime.

For one, the animation stayed fluent throughout the entire 52 episodes.

The development was pretty steady, I mean that there was not something rushed and happened too fast.

The characters developed pretty steadily. What I mean is, they all wanted to become stronger and they all did.

The Kekkai was a very different technique. Never ever seen anything like that in all the anime that I have seen.

It was very different from what I would expect from a magic/spell casting anime.

I enjoyed it even more, because even thou there was a mutual feeling between both main characters, the creators did not turn this into a romance anime.

The characters got closer, but it did not develop into your typical romance anime.

To sum it up, this anime contained genres that I like, magic, comedy, action, Fantasy, and a hint of romance, not too much.

I am going to give this anime a 9/10. Why a 9? Because of the ending, I did not find it satisfying at all =/.

That being said, I would not mind having a continuation of this story, but we all know that isn't going to happen /cry
