he's there for congruity imo...the town needs a soul reaper while the real story takes place elsewhere.

I have not followed the bleach anime in very long so I decided to check the latest episode and I'm very surprised about how close the anime is to the manga.. I'm guessing there should be fillers in the anime soon?

We had only 2 fillers last couple weeks. I am really surprised that we haven't gone into a different filler arc yet myself. I wonder if the manga is going to end soon and they know that the anime won't catch up before it ends.

it seems like we might be getting close to the end of the series. don't hold my word to it, just it sorta gives off the feeling...

i have a new theory... just one i made up with little/no proof so don't go raging at me

maybe ichigo's dad is actually the king and he lost his powers so he had to reside in the human world for some time and that's why karakura town is so dense in spirit particles... because his spirit energy was leaked there....since he lost so much spirit energy, he has to use a gigai in order to maintain his form

i don't think this is it, but it'd be kool if it was true lol

btw i like the new bleach ending
