haruhi movie was a decent conclusion to the series. i really enjoyed the first season at the time, but endless eight totally threw me off the rest of it.

The movie is not really a conclusion in any way. For one thing, it actually takes place before Endless Eight. For another, the anime is less than half done with the story. I think it was a great movie though.
