How did you try to edit the signature? If you do it under "Settings > Edit signature" it does that.
If you go to your profile, and click the Edit button by your signature space, and do it there..it shouldn't do it.

i think your missing the complete coding there. every single letter has a different person, and color... but the color don't work, so i fail...

He just has a list of peoples' profiles' urls and it randomizes, I believe.

got it fixed. took the color coding out and it was short enough.
