I don't remember hitsugaya saying anything about the flowers sucking out his energy. His is an ice based attack and yumichika's is a kido energy draining attack.

he just said he'd die, but we'll see if he ends up saying the same thing since she isn't dead yet and since Bleach is out of ideas I bet he'll be like, I can absorb your energy through the petals as they melt or something

Na, he said he was afraid other ppl around him would die if he used it at full strength cus he can't fully control it yet.
