just curious what "element" you think caribou is, he IS a confirmed logia, yet seems to resemble the mud or poision or etc


going by those standards luffy is a logia because he is the element of rubber(even though it's more of a compound than an element)

caribou is a logia

magellan is a paramecia

yet they, as of now, look to be the same

they aren't permeable to attacks, the attacks hit, but it's more like they absorb them


ofc i know, the manga says luffy is a paramecia, etc etc, BUT let's just think here, there are holes in the story as of now... so this is either going to get confusing, or clear itself up

oda usually isn't one to leave holes

e: i say this because smoker's ability is considered the cloud ability, and clouds are def not an element.

blackbeard is a confirmed logia
and im sure darkness is not an element

the idea of a logia is that you can avoid taking damage to your physical body by shifting into a substance and recreating it simultaneously, like regeneration.



Luffy is made of rubber, bullets reflect off of him and punches hurt him.

Magellan is poison. He can create poison in infinite amounts but if you punch him you WILL connect with his physical form, IE he cannot transform into poison, only create it from various parts of his body.

Crocodile is a logia, because if you punch his head off, he can recreate it by transforming his element back into his physical form, and likewise he can transform his physical form to his element.

blackbeards ability is interesting, but still a logia.


He can transform his body into darkness, but I have yet to see an instance of him transforimg darkness into a physical form to regenerate. As far as I know, his ability has a huge strength; the ability to steal a persons devils fruit power and render them weak like sea stone, but he also has a huge weakness - you can burn him, punch him and hit him....he will feel the pain from all of this, but I don't believe any of it can be fatal.


edit: magellan can regenerate poison, but not his physical form afaik. If zoro was there and cut off his arm, he couldn't just grow a new one.

If you noticed, luffy did not do anything special when he gear 3rd pistoled him. He had the wax fist, but that was because he didn't want to get burned. If magellan was a logia, he could have just transformed into poison and avoided the attack.
