apparantly luffy's arm isn't black because of the haki, it's because he changed/vulcanized(according to OP forums) the rubber in his arm which makes it hard like a bowling ball, BUT not as flexible

If you read the GREEN VOLUME released, ODA specifically states that devil fruits become more powerful and diverse the more they are used.

Haki is an invisible force, so why would it affect his arms color and/or chemical structure?

it's being said that there will be a gear 4

same as gear 2, except using armaments to keep all the lost energy inside im guessing they're talking about the steam?

but it's one of the bigger rumors that gear 4 is faster/stronger than 2





ALSO did you guys notice luffy didnt shrink after using gear 3?

i assume he used armaments to prevent his body from deteriorating

He might have found a way to deal with it, though we didn't really see too much of luffy after the punch


also, if there was a gear 4, I imagine it wouldn't be like the other 2 gears.


Gear 2 is his super saiyan fast gear

Gear 3 is the mega powerful kill giants gear

Gear 4 will have a unique purpose as well, probably

idk if it's gna be called gear 4, or if it's just a complete remodel of gear2

but it's supposed to be really intricate compared to his old gear2

it's possible...he has already changed gear 3 apparently, so who knows about gear 2


btw, someone brought up the term volcanized earlier....that's what gear 2 already is

it's supposed to be more of a combination, so the harder rubber from gear two, but even harder i assume, and than the giant pistol




gear2 is simply his blood pumping faster, the additions to his rubber abilities are just there


yes he can use the jet pistol in gear 2, but gear2 is simply just his blood pumping faster(as things stand now)

I thought it was explained awhile back the the point of pumping the blood was to heat up his rubber body, or something to that effect
