Most likely, but itachi got injured from using his technqiues for so long
so far we haven't been given enough information weather Nagato and Itachi had the same desase

Yeah, but look @ nagato. He might be coughing up blood just from being in the form he is in. Maybe he traded his life span for godly powers.
