I think people are waaayyy over anticipating Luffy's Haki. If you ask me it's super handy yes, but still just another arrow to go in the quiver of useful abilities and traits he has.
There were soooo many ads in this chapter, it gave the appearance of a being extra large before the break but like 5 pages were ads or title pages. ):

meh cariboo should only honestly be as strong as nami/usopp maybe brooks/franky/chopper/robin at most. id be kind of upset if hes actually a challenge vs one of sanji/zoro/luffy. i mean sanji/zoro destroyed a pacifista easily and when they were rookies the pacifistas were wrecking luffy and all the other rookie captains + crews pretty handily.
