espada's are numbered based on their strength... not by their ability.......barragan's ability is the most powerful reason for death... it doesn't necessarily mean he's the strongest of the espadas.

Logically, his ability would make him easily the strongest...
I don't see how the shinigami are going to beat him...

He can both slow and speed time; he cannot be stopped...

you realy belive that? always is a hiden shit :)))) And i saw a aura or some hit soifong arm before rot.Since Stark and Yammi are #1 and #0 proves that hes just a old fish...also , that soifong is weak as fuck... she braged about how good they are ( secret corp squad) and how secret was that ASSASINATIOn tehnique (the one she used to kill barragan fraction) ...but when it comes to a real fight she just SUCKS!

Vouch. Soifon would have been nice to send into las noches alone to kill somebody, not a straight up fight.

actually, she was just matched against the wrong person..... her speed and agility (which is mainly what she has) has been hindered by barragan... everytime she gets close to him her movements are slowed, which means most of her strength are hindered........i bet she wouldn't do so poorly against hallibel

How many times has it been preached that bankai is a requirement for becoming a captain. (zaraki was exception because he killed previous kenapchi)
