And so, he spends the series trying to confess his love to her, but whenever they're alone, he can't get the words out (Since he can only roar with loneliness) and in the end, after Skullgreymon gets saved by his love, the rocket thing on his back launches and she dies, confessing her love for him in his hands with her dying breath. After which, we close with Skullgreymon, jumping off the roof of the school building...
