Not really he goes into lots of these fights without a plan (forgetting relic smh)and gives the impression of being completely aloof ...in contrast to the cool and collected dbz goku

Multiple times in DBZ he forgot the senzu beans. He always forgets shit when going into a fight. All he's good for is fighting and training, nothing else. He's a tactical genius when it comes to fighting and he's shown that multiple times in DBS, like with his bouts with Beerus and Hit. Just to think he's anything more than an idiot who's exceptional at one thing is pretty ridiculous.

Obviously all I'm talking about is fighting and in general he has been aloof in this domain in comparison. It is perhaps a bit perception based as they paint him over the top downs in dbs

I agree... There's been a few moments where it's wtf stupidity. My thought behind this since the beginning has been that they actually do plan to shift Goku out as the main protagonist. It'll be easier for the fans to stomach if they make him a joke first before moving either Gohan, Vegeta or someone else into the role.

If Gohan doesn't get his dues soon I will be so sad...

We all will lol. Gohan is the hero we want.

And we deserv that! Gohan shall rise again!
