I don't see how. The captain had no idea what was going on if it was a hollow, a soul reaper, something that was making the bodies disapear. He basically went in blind.

If it was a fight where he had even see tousen, he would have been able to win because he would have known the target at least.

but it wasn't... tousen's bankai is the ultimate bankai for a surprise attack... for this reason it is overpowered... taking away sight is just overrated...

Yeah, but its 1v1 capabilities are sadly lacking. If they know what is going on then it loses most of its value, I mean, if zaraki could counter tousen's bankai by fealing the sword and attacking, I can only imagine what somebody w/ godly talent like byakuya would be able to do to him even if he didn't release his shikai.

zaraki's overrated.... he's had hundreds of years of battle experience and knows what to do.

It takes away all your senses besides touch. I don't think anyone besides Zaraki can fight by letting the blade stab him before he makes his move. I believe most Captains besides few of the top ones would have a terrible time fighting him. It is probably one of the strongest bankais in the series.
