Can't really say it was rushed.... They DID fight like 4 final bosses lol
10tails, madara, obito and the mother of all chakra
And only avoided one, attacked one, successfully converted other one, and sealed the last one

I was watching some old episodes and I noticed that Itachi could be out of his susanoo when using it (Edo itachi vs Edo nagato)
