i lold so hard... that was a really good ep !

Lmaooo I laughed so hard at that episode ^^ and so good to finally see what luffy can do, sentomaru was sure surprised, now you can bring 500 of them and they would defeat them easy

Somehow I knew there wasn't going to be much of a fight this episode. It was a great episode, but I was hoping Luffy would defeat Coribou, Caribou, and all the other pirates.

why would he fight with the pirates

they just want to get to the ship and get out of the island safely and continue their journey

There's always the chance that the pirates will be angry and attack Luffy. Or they could want to try him out and see how powerful he is. If Navy soldiers seem to think they can catch Luffy, I wouldn't be surprised if these pirates wouldn't try the same. They know that if they take out Luffy then they will be extremely famous and respected.

great episode, i love how quickly he goes into gear second now.
i cant wait to see more of their new strengths against worthy opponents.

and it seems like he activated 2nd gear onto his left arm only.
if so, he has soooo much control over his power now.
