LOL. YOU'RE FUCKING DELUSIONAL.
the whole point of mmos is not the endgame content, but the implementation of content so that it isnt all at the endgame.
rushing to endgame is something that's so commonplace because people want to get the best shit, the fastest. taking out the XP grind reduces the lifespan of the game, so you only have gear grind to rely on now.
Depends on the game. But lately the "content" in any mmos as of late has been pretty lackluster.
Rift, WHO, the WoW expansions, and many others....all looked good on paper, I played through them at a somewhat normal pace, and realized that the grind was terrible and the end game was terrible. I get through the grind process pretty quick in any modern mmo, so I do look for the end game content. I need something that makes me want to log on everyday.
Don't get me wrong, I love the grind as much as anyone for variance in gameplay, but let's face it.....playing at anything less than max level with a decent set of gear will have certain ramifications on your perception of the classes and balance of the game.
With my clan as an example, we would love to know what classes to roll and whether or not the classes that are dominating now will continue to dominate at max level.
