Naruto is special, he has kyuubi or he would have never been able to do sage training so he doesn't count, but who else? If its just explaining what a technique does then that doesn't really count, you can't expect somebody to know how an attack works because they are seeing it in battle.

No. I mean having to take like 2 page's to explain to JERAIYA how being able to see from multiple vantage points is a benefit.

also, I am not a trained assassin ninja and i'm only seeing the moves from a 2d black and white comic page and I can tell what they're doing, with the basic knowledge of how their jutsu work from the small amount of gleaned from the manga whilst only moderately paying attention.
