I start at the beginning for any manga except the shounen trinity and hajime no ippo.

So in short, yes, start at beginning.


edit: because its better to see if you have already seen all the stuff, compared to sky rocketing a few chapters forward and seeing spoilers

if you look @ ikuno on the left there, you can kind of see some inspiration of where he got claire or w/e from claymore from
