Overuse imo. especially for that outcome.

Well maybe a couple less considering 2 layers font, couple on render couple on c4d, but please be my guest if my bg's are so easy and shitty produce one equal to mine, in like 5 layers like you make it seem you can.

imo, thats on equal terms as your bg is.. mines just alot darker than all of your bgs you make. all your bg is is abstract brushing w/ photo filters and gradients set on different modes, i would say soft light and lighten and some overlay.

edit: Now, mine doesnt have as much brushing done to it because honestly.. the more abstract brushing on a sig, the worse it gets.. you cant overuse brushing dude. sigs arn't all about the backgrounds. you have to make your render "fit" into the background.

yeah because yours has so much black, mine have so much more depth and light and such...

Yes ok fine I give you the fact that atleast your render fits with it, but it's still not comparable...

and I believe that's why I'm working on my smudging etc to get my renders blended into those bg's some day *Sigh*

And maybe I overdo it a bit on my abstract bg's sad.gif and that's why sometimes it's a bitch to make the renders fit/work.

yea but if you overuse the brushing and make too many layers it gets harder to fit your render in because you like to get bright finishes and if the render you want to put in is dark than its never going to fit with the background. you shouldn't work so hard to get "light and such" in your background all the time.. like your current shana sig. i cant see the render being able to blend in with the bg AT ALL. its not all about being able to smudge your render into the background. its about how you picture both of them will look together. remember.. Some backgrounds are better when they are simpler.

That's cause I got lazy and just threw the Shana render on there cause it was cute lol.

The haruhi and clare one blend not too horribly, but not too great either since I put so much freakin depth and such in them, I like my backgrounds gg though and Hope I keep improving in them so Idk, I gotta somehow catch up with blending render factors.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZT.
Wrong.

Both are about equal, his slightly more depth and better lighting.
Better depth because his render/focal is blended in more, making it clear that it's part of the background and creates a better atmosphere. On the shana one it basically looks like you made the background (which is very messy and the composition is horrible) and stuck a render on top. Aswell.. shana looks squished, hold shift when resizing imo.
Lighting is better because the background has a general lighting going \\\\\, which the focal and the background have in common.
Your lighting is... does yours even have a specific flow of lighting or a light source? Looks random and messy.

Both of you (the_pker and Paintball) have an extremely cocky attitude, instead of trying to insult eachother's work why not try to improve on your own since you both clearly need some work. This constant bickering (especially always coming from you adam, since you seem to start most of these useless arguments) is so annoying and useless. Adam, stop thinking you're more knowledgable then everybody, and messaging me on msn about how dumb people are acting when you yourself are acting just as dumb. Sheesh.

Fair enough but please let me add I by no means was comparing this Shana one with his lol ( This Shana one is not that great but it's cute), I was comparing my better ones to his if you look a few pages back.
