However, this is the arc that got me to stop reading the manga, so it's an empty victory.
Worried they will hurry through the pendulum, then drag on another filler arc.....

This arc made you stop reading the manga? Why because it gave you background into how the vaizards came to be and while all of them have shinigami powers? If you seriously didn't find this arc interesting then you shouldn't be watching or reading bleach at all.
