not sure if you're serious or not... but obito is pretending to be someone that he doesn't want to be, and he's filling up with regret but can't turn back because he's gone too far... naruto wants to "take off his mask" to reveal the true obito uchiha and not this nameless person that he's pretending to be....the mask of which he refers is not a tangible object, but a figurative one.
