but to answer your question, wood-release is different from the other kekeigenkai's in that it breathes life from nothing....this ability is super hard to control and requires really high life force to maintain... hashirama was gifted with massive stamina, endurance, and chakra... 1 random mutation into a suitable subject is all it takes... obito even said that hashirama's cells and abilities were hard to control which probably why you don't see him using it at all, and it is demonstrated by danzo turning into a tree......also, yamato was the only one out of several test subjects that was able to fuse with hashimara's cells, and even then he couldn't fully use it to its potential which indicates the difficulty of wood release.
another possible explanation could be that there were very few others who could use wood release, but they died in the war against the uchiha (remember, both sides suffered massive casualties)
difference with kimimaro is that it was his clans kekkai genkai that was stated but the 1st i think is the original, not a mention of his clans kekkai genkai but his.
lol its a manga dont tell me its hard to create another user lulz...there have been 2 10tails jinchurki's there have been 2 rinnegans NATURALLY but still only 1 person who can do wood release. at least 2 ems we know of. 2 8gates(gai can do it and someone had to have done it before him probably the second lulz). The only other unique thing i can think of is the power from some of the MS users. maybe mei's boil shit and that scorch earth but i am sure if ir ead the chapters they will call it the sands or mist kekkai genkai.
You didnt answer my question and its not from nothing its from chakra. the 1st and everyone else in his clan were blessed with that shit too. oh no its hard that doesnt sound like its impossible. the 3 rinnegan(fuck obito) should have been able to learn all the mixed chakra shit imo! yamato madara danzo(his chakra was depleted/exhausted as to why the 1st cells went rampage and he had to detach the arm) still besides the point i understand that its rare i just dont understand how its 1 out of the entire population especially when he had a freaking clan.
