The edo tensei 2nd has unlimited chakra, the second back then did not. Kinkaku/ginkaku + 18 others(they speculate that kakuza was part of it) are nothing to sneeze at. How many divisions were only able to seal them thx to their own(sages really) retarded weapons.
He may not have had enough chakra to ftg the distance required for all them(6) to actually escape from the k/g squad. I mean it did take 3 jounin just to perform the jump for the mizukage. Obviously the 2nd and 4th have ridiculous chakra reserves but still 7 people i dunno.
Now this could all just be bullshit because the 4th did seem to use ftg a lot when obito attacked the village and was only visibly hurt/fatigued when he let himself be stabbed.
