Agreed, He also witnessed his "love" interest die which was relatively new to him whereas the 1st 2nd and madara having their brothers die was like drinking water lol. You also have that special hormone in the uchiha when someone of real significance dies.

Him being the Akasukti leader was just a figure head. Every member was most likely stronger than obito. Dunno about diedara he always seem weak to me

The pairs they were put into complemented eachother to such a degree it seemed like they were stronger

Well Madara made Obito his bitch so gg, also starting from the 21st fillers will stop and from the 22nd is when Madara shows up. This chapter was pretty good but I expected more, felt like I bashed through the pages before I realized it was already over.

Pain was a pretty terrible person, too but he redeemed some of his actions. He destroyed Konoha but brought everyone back to life after Naruto used Talk no Jutsu. Gaara never went out and killed innocent people, he just mercilessly killed opponents. Gaara deserves no blame. He attacked Konoha because the entire Sand Village attacked Konoha. I guess Obito still has a moment to redeem himself but the only character that's worse than Obito is Madara.



Charity sort of brought this up. Outside of the one Rinnegan (which Obito is not using for some reason, he probably doesn't have much power with it or something), Obito probably isn't that strong. Pretty much all of his success can be attributed to Kamui. If not for his ability to avoid damage entirely for minutes at a time, someone probably would have killed him by now. Hell, he was afraid of Itachi. That says something. Or maybe Kakashi has grown to the point where he can be considered top tier. He was going to become the hokage, after all.

The problem with Kakashi is that he has been repeatedly used as a pawn, and the new generation steals the spotlight. The writers often smuggle in magic for this new generation; whether it is a new overpowered jutsu, unheard of ocular powers, providing them with useful information, carrying around complex antidotes, and the list goes on.

Not to mention some of the most powerful opponents were trolled in the process.

Kakashi held his own against both Hidan and Kakuzu, and his team was useless for a huge part of the fight (apart from Shikamaru that pulled through later in the fight). He saved them a couple times.
Kakashi has shown some of the best movements in the shows, praised by both Itachi and Pain. He could spar Kakuzu in taijutsu, a shinobi with enormous amount of experience. While Sasuke was exhausted from his battle with Danzu, Kakashi did outmaneuver and outwit him several times in the fight.

While Kakashi is not the strongest ninja, he is not one to be underestimated. I think putting him in the “top tier” would be fair.

completely agreed with this post, not only that Kakashi is one of the 5 generals of the joint shinobi army, along side Gaara, Darui, that one rock guy, and mifune. Those are the elite of the elite from their respective places. To consider kakashi weaker then obito would be a insult. Obito hasn't used an ounce of his power to do anything, Zetsu carries him throughout most of the manga. The only thing he did that was even mildly impressive was beat Konan, with the use of the strongest uchiha jutsu known to existence.

kakashi has also died before....Hinata held up against pain too but eventually died.... KONOHAMARU beat a pain...kakashi died....kakashi is not top tier because itachi prollly isnt top tier either way kakashi is 3rd-4th tier. 4hokages(3 of them can possibly be tier 2) + madara +3rd raikage that seems like top tier to me. itachi naruto(i dunno i say this dude is more ninetails than actually powerful) sasuke bee raikage - kakashi gai gaara +++

Sooo when obito used kakashi's chidori to stab himself that was genjutsu? so not cool! i mean come on fated rivals sasuke and itachi already did this.

Obito still had the 1st dna he should have outlasted kakashi i honestly think he should have stuck with the 2nd sharingan for izanagi usage. either way its not that kakashi is better than him but he has a fucking stab through his sternum down to his middle abs?
