Pretty sure obito tried to suck in the 4th(failed due to the 4th "speed" ftg*) and if he had(not sure if the ftg would allow him to get out since it is technically space time jutsu) like karin or danzo's lackeys unable to do anything or escape unless tobi let them out. I do believe like how sasuke was able to fend off tsukiyomi another capable sharingan user may be able to fend off kamui same with maybe shisui's special move.

Obito without kamui(not sure if he is able to use any of the other 3 MS i assume he cant tbh) as of now!!!(he may show us something next chapter other 3 MS etc) isnt what we would call above average strong in the manga he would be more like the parents/hayate/those 3 who know ftg/the dark shades who was going to mind fuck kisame/the cloud brother and sister hot&cold/ etc.
I see it like this tier 1 - 1st/2nd/madara(these 3 edo tensei, madara i do believe kabuto only dealt with his age)/prime 3rd/3rd raikage(i am sure he knew about his weakness and wouldnt allow himself to be hit by himself rofl)...... Tier 2- Naruto/sasuke these 2 obviously are on tier 1 door if not through yet due to main chars though!/itachi/minato/cough maito gai(fuck yall!!!!)/kakashi(with kamui ofc)/bee.....Tier 3 - No real gap between this and tier two raikage/err old dust dude etc etc just some examples and its JUST MY OPINION. but yeah Obito without kamui is like tier 4 and isnt near reaching tier 3. Obito does have a very monstrous knowledge base and that may actually enable him to win vs a good much of people maybe even some tier 2 but he's prolly on shikamaru's and his dad level strength wise.




obito seems to have activated genjutsu hence kakashi seeing rin after obito's eye pulsated. Obito clearly held kakashi's hand/arm and either walked into or pulled kakashi toward him and pierced his own "heart" either way he said it himself he feels nothing. Now either like the 1st regenerates or some zetsu spores will pop out and heal him or it was just obito using genjutsu and it was a metaphorical gesture.

I would not count Obito out, as there is more content to come from the manga.

Just look at Naruto for example: He was a pitiful and weak shinobi entering the second installment of the series compared to Sasuke and some other shinobi. It was not until recently that Naruto became a top tier shinobi, and if not for the Demon Fox, he would have been defeated by Pain.

Naruto became powerful in a sudden fashion, so there is no reason to dismiss the possibility that Obito might have another card up his sleeve or some incredible strength smuggled into the manga.
We happened to see a fire jutsu from Obito that was comparable to Madara’s, and that is nothing to sneeze at. He just had a hole punched into his chest, and should be dead. But instead Obito stands and is about to continue the discussion with Kakashi.

We still do not know much about Obito, but he has had some powerful influence in the series to date. To suggest he is just some 4th tier shinobi is to underestimate him.

No im not counting him out im saying what we've currently seen. Also again im only talking about without kamui this is all hypothetical that is actually kamui that has made him a major player. Also im talking about strength or i guess i should say (dbz) power level, also like i said with strategy/huge knowledge he can prolly still beat tier 2 people. However his greatness IMO is all thx to kamui.

I'd have to agree with you here. It's hard to doubt that Obito is a strong ninja overall, and he's displayed a few other moves that he knows but everything significant in the series that he was able to achieve was because of Kamui. I'm pretty sure that's the reason that Kakashi is going to be able to give Obito a really hard fight, assuming that they are about to fight. Kakashi has the same trump card as Obito. Also, Obito said Kakashi had multiple opportunities to finish him off, so maybe he was actually owning him in their fight before he teleported them.

Also, to address the speculation about Obito and Kakashi's abilities being the same but different, I don't think there's much analysis to be done there. I think the most logical explanation of it is that Obito simply has more of a mastery over the eye than Kakashi does. Kakashi could barely handle the mangekyo for a while, while Obito has the advantage of being an Uchiha that's supplemented with Hashirama's DNA.

Obito is a 95 ES FB sorc with 13x bmanas. Kakashi is a vita lightning sorc with 9x 20/5s and only 1 bmana. The ES/FBer has more overall durability, though the vita lightning sorc has the advantage in the matchup itself and is more than capable of taking the opposing sorc down quickly, if it can find its opportunity to strike.
