Ok soooo something just dawned on me thx to this chapter. One of the reasons i thought obito wasnt tobi was due to the fight with the 4th hokage and how it seemed they were on par. Now with this chapter i realize just how powerful kamui made obito or if not powerful just how much of a formidable foe it made him, too a lesser extent hidan's semi immortality did the same for him.
konan forced obito to use izanagi to win or i should say to survive seeing as how he had no other way out. Yet we now have it kakaski facing obito who i assume cant or hasnt used kamui due to already being in the dimension far FAR out classes him. This seems to be the case where its the unique power that is really the show and not the actual user. (For those who read bleach also know that aizen also has a very overpowered technique yet he doesnt have to rely on it int he least.)
So orochimaru may actually be weaker(physically) than he was before however it seems his ninjutsu grew stronger. Cant believe i never thought about how weak a zetsu body was even after the whole obito meets madara thing showing the body building up resistance.
So yeah just realized exactly how powerful kamui (obitos at least is) just imagine if somehow he got his next eye from kakashi.
I still think Obito is still strong.
There is a significant different between Kakashi and 4th, and that is Obito did not transfer the 4th to another dimension. Obito used his ability to elude attacks when fighting the fourth, and might been able to manipulate other things; however, here he brought Kakashi to the dimension for another purpose (and losing his signature advantage). The purpose behind transferring Kakashi might not even be for fighting, and he might have allowed Kakashi to wound him.
It would be a more powerful expression for Obito to show Kakashi how different he is, as words are often not enough. Obito might be able to regenerate that wound, as he has the Hashirama’s cells.
