but when i talk like that i mean something like this
Hayate no gotoku! "S1" had 4 13 ep seasons within it http://myanimelist.net/anime/2026/Hayate_no_Gotoku!
and then later on they released Hayate no Gotoku!! (which i refer to as s2) http://myanimelist.net/anime/4192/Hayate_no_Gotoku!!
just as best examples I can think of

i know this but i'm referring within those seasons
Hayate s1 mentions within itself something like "Next week season 4 starts" or something to that effect, which is what i was bringing up

One piece is a still ongoing anime that's very good and you can enjoy it for a long time! They skip a lot of islands though.
