Akame Ga Kill, very great, similiar to Rising of the Shield Hero in a sense imo would recommend.

definitely available in english but can also be watched in japanese with eng subs if you prefer that ( I do)

Kengan Asura and/or Baki for fighting anime without superpowers but still very much over the top


Hajjime no Ippo (boxing anime, lots of funny scenes and whenever the dempsey roll hits, its fun to watch, just check out "ippo dempsey roll" on youtube to get a taste)

Also, Aldnoah Zero (especially when he defeats those highly advanced alien tech mechs with just knowledge of physics and his own outdated training mech :-D )

If you ever liked any Gundam, you MUST HAVE to watch Code Geass!

Basically it takes place in the future with a superpower called Geass. I guess it also perfectly fits your description.

I was trying to write a TLDR of the story for like 15 minutes now, I have given up. Wrote and deleted it multiple times, lol. Aside from English not being my primary language, it's really hard to gather it all into a few-sentence-long description.

Anyways, that's my only suggestion. And if you watch it, you'll never regret your decision.
