Do you draw the flames?

I wouldn't say that I draw them, I just smudge out some blobs with a general direction in mind, then add some color to it

im not very good at making sigs but i got some that im quite proud of

I think these are nice
I've only really made 2 sigs so far and they were for myself.
I had specific images in my head, so now I need to be okay with simple designs too
I'm worried I haven't done enough, ya know?

you could always try following a tutorial, maybe youll learn a technique or two that you can then apply to future signatures
but considering youre just winging it so far your sigs are good

I get lost without a clear idea, I started tinkering with another sig today.
Though I'm worried I haven't done enough. It was just a project I started on a whim
I have a few people who have been giving me tips and pointers, so I'm really lucky.



Nice! I like the background, very wispy

Small brush and a lot of strokes for about 30+ mins
I don't have a tablet, so it was done with my mouse

Decided to do another~

I try not to use topaz labs filters, but I like to see how they come out sometimes



These last 2 attempts, I painted and blended the colors in rather than adding and smudging them before blending
The only smudge layer is the black layer - smudging the color layers can yield different results, but is much more time consuming
Can also do a mix of both, and smudge in some color for highlights, which looks nice~
