fanservice has been around since the beginning pretty much, the art just evolved to be more attractive and cleaner over the years so it looks better.
hell even some of the best well known quality anime's out there have fanservice in them. (which didn't hurt them)

I'll try this one more time. This time, try to actually read and comprehend what I'm saying. Completely missing the point and making wildly inaccurate assumptions about what the point is, only strengthens my hypothesis that all people like yourself are just completely delusional.
Fanservice has been around forever. However, shows didn't revolve 100% around fanservice from the beginning, that's a fairly new development. Even the heavy fanservice older shows at least had a good plot or some character development. My issue is with the massive number of shows released with zero content besides fanservice, shows that you and OP constantly post about and drool over. Once again, these particular shows with heavy fanservice tend to have a weak plot, horrible character development and really nothing more than something for you to masturbate to. Here we go back to my point that you should just watch porn/hentai if that's what you're interested in. A show can be great and have fanservice, a show can not be great if it revolves completely around fanservice. If we remove the massive number of shows dedicated solely for people who are just horny teenagers or weird single adults, then we'd see a significant increase in the number of shows actually attempting to incorporate some sort of plot. Of course, we'd still get plenty of bad shows, but the odds of at least a couple more good-great ones coming out a year would be much higher if studios weren't so concerned with pushing out these shit shows that make money because people like you won't stop watching them, even though you know they're terrible.
To summarize. Fanservice is fine in moderation, basing a show around fanservice, especially these weird trap fetishes you all seem to have (which means you have repressed sexual attraction to children btw, something you should probably talk to someone about) is counterproductive for the betterment of the industry. It pushes people away from even giving anime a chance and it forces studios to cater to their audience by continuing to make these terrible shows. Stop pretending you watch these shows for the story, you don't. Watch hentai when you want to masturbate and watch real shows when you actually want to watch something, it's not that hard. Unfortunately, the number of people like you is only growing, I highly doubt anything is going to change, but if I can make at least one person realize how much they're hurting something they claim to love, then I'll feel like these rants have been worth it.
