I love subs and I truly think you get a lot more out of anime by watching it in it's natural language but OP is fairly new to anime and is sharing our love of alternative story-telling mediums. I think it's great that he enjoys something I enjoy. The sharing of passions is at the heart of friendship. Even if they enjoy what you're passionate about in a different way than you do.
