Spoilers matter for those who enjoy the in the moment sense of stories. I generally prefer to know the story as a whole so spoilers don't bother me too much, unless the end is spoiled, but I really do think it is bad mannered and should be reportable.

because when somebody tells you which character dies before the writers of the show intended you to know (and show you in the anime) won't change your perception on how the story and characters are developing
basically story development is non existent according to you

spoiler alerts are just a form of common courtesy on jsp, Even if a red spoiler alert which you see on other sites is added if they want to spoil they will (So starts the whiny pms to mods). Besides I'm surprised it happens as little as it does here, Sucks for those who are new at anime though, Good thing I watched most of them when they air.

problem here isn't spoilering what has already aired, but spoilering unaired stuff because someone read manga
