Alright, I called my son and he said he wanted a Zeong Unicorn Gundam

There are some for $30 and some for $330 and I'm not sure what the difference is (not that I would pay $300 for a lump of plastic lol)

It turns out my son has been using this site for awhile now. If you seen Tony2Dope, that's him.

this dude is trolling. if not then i feel really sorry for your son. your son is too old to have his parents find him presents. Do what i do, have them write a list and then search amazon for it. Make sure he understands you can't afford 300$. put a price limit.

Just to let you know, anime is not some childrens story one you get to the other side. There are heavy stories just as there are children stories in books and novels. I know many of people who have families and work already and still watch anime. It is the same as watching tv, or reading a book.

I play sports, go to school, work, and watch anime/play video games. It is all about balance.

I used to watch anime as a kid (Looney Tunes, Tex Avery, Davey and Goliath), but there is a time in your life when you need to leave these things behind and grow up.

Adults who watch too much anime don't form normal social skills. As someone else said earlier, anime is an escape--one that allows children to remain secluded and cutoff from the outside world, stunting their ability to form social connections with other people. As adults, they remain introverted: they don't exercise, they don't go out into the world and make friends, they don't interact with women, they don't get married, and they can sometimes become sexual deviants, with minds that are perverted by the portrayal of animals and little girls as sexually appealing characters. Here is an image that illustrates what I'm talking about:

This girl looks to be all of 13 years old, yet she is being portrayed in a highly sexual manner. Children should not be illustrated in a way that is sexually appealing. Anyone who finds this arousing has a problem, and should seek help at sexual rehabilitation center backed by whichever religious denomination you follow. The depiction of animals as sexually appealing is almost as disgusting:

This is similar to what I caught my son masturbating to a few weeks ago.

I don't want my son to grow up perverted. I had a long, sincere talk with him about my concerns. I asked him to cut back on the anime cartoons and get more involved with boy scouts, and he agreed that some changes could be made. My goal is to ween him off of anime over the coming year. By the time he turns 16 (next year), he will not receive anymore gifts like the $60 Zeong robot I ordered him.
