Both pls don't make me choose

I prefer watching anime, as in most cases the soundtracks add a lot to the overall experience. Reading manga is awesome as well of course.

One of the complains I hear about why people don't read manga is that they don't like reading.....yet most of those people prefer subbed anime

That is correct. The the meaning of "Don't like reading" is not direct. It means they'd rather see animation more as well. reading subs, you read a lot less assuming the anime skips a lot of stuff (Most anime nowadays skips way too much). Another thing is when people read subs, its from the JP words being said, so there's a sense of hearing the words you read. No sound or moving visuals can be said as being read. ;O Thats how I see it.

I read the manga first to know how the real story goes, and then I watch the anime to bitch about how bad it is.

If it's really interesting or the anime slows down, I'd read the manga
