Not that I liked SAO.. but coming from someone who said that Berserk's anime is better then the manga.. I sincerely doubt that anyone in this subforum would take your opinion into consideration here.

The anime and manga are the same thing. I was pointing out that the anime covered the Flash Back Arc which was the only worthy part in the series as of why they stopped the anime. Even a blind person can see this. Seriously the facts are there that the rest of the arcs in the series aka manga has no story development and just a bunch of random fightings. I could argue with you moar!!! but you cant really reason with bias'd fanboys even if you are pointing out facts.

i personally really enjoyed it although books were still far better

I'm not saying it's impossible to enjoy at all . But as far as being a mention-able anime to people who don't really fall for entry-level anime/grew up watching anime, I wouldn't do it .

all depends on the person though
irl friend got someone watching it who doesn't even care for anime xD

the person probably likes games or the idea of a virtual world.

yes SAO Arc was the best action anime i've ever seen.

those bossfights were the real deal.
