....
1. You enjoy it? yet you enjoy it in secrecy. Fuck outta here.
2. Animecons are not for everyone. It's meant to be "faggot" and by all means be a dumass weeaboo/otaku all you want. (Meaning people can be a retard and sorta get away with it ;O)
3. SHE'S PAYING FOR EVERYTHING!?!? A WOMAN IS PAYING FOR EVERYTHING, FOR YOU!? Nigga.. that not only is like Mindfucking Blowing. But it obviously she probably likes you. Bitch.
4. Some people stick with anime for their entire lives. Age has nothing to do with it.
5. Watch out for your own mouth by possibly speaking bad about dumasses!! (I should also do this)
6. 3 Days? Thats so little time for an anime convention QQ
7. What you drink during/after is up to you. Depends on your company / how you are drunk ;O
8. You are a lolicon because you indirectly wanted people to link the stuff ;O
9. You're welcome
10. HAHAHAHA and I don't like bacon ;O
Edit: Now time to read all these replies
Okay. here's the serious stuff. (Wait? Wasn't I also serious before?)
In animecons, unless you cosplay, no one will give a damn about you. They won't run up to you, or hug you so you don't have to worry about that if you won't cosplay. If the girl that you go with is cosplaying, she'll at WORST just get her picture taken. Possible pulled out to the side for group pictures (depending on character). But nothing too serious. Just always be around her just in case. And yeah just be yourself, although be sure to respect (just about) everyone that is there. The convention is to allow them to express their love towards anime (or stupidity) etc etc. Depending on what anime/manga you like, or how YOU are (ie. do you like looking around, exploring, listening to your friend(s)?) an animecon can be insanely fun and awesome. There are all kinds of cons so don't think the one you go will the same as any other one.
Tips:
1. Bring a backpack filled with water and food. (If your friend is paying for everything... well lol. This is up to you)
2. Be prepared to walk for many, many hours.
3. Depending on the con, it can be REALLY crowed. Don't get impatient and just slowly move to whatever destination.
4. Actually try things out, and explore. Look at things discreetly. Not just glance and continue walking or wondering while following your friend.
5. Act at least interested if you ever feel bored. No one wants to see non-enthusiastic people at a place they enjoy coming to.
6. Look through your catalog, there may be things you will maybe actually like.
7. Have an open mind.
Thanks for that, it's exactly the type of reply I was looking for, and I will keep all that in mind.
What I mean when I say I enjoy it secretly is, I don't discuss it at work, or anything... I'm not exactly hiding it, I just don't find it necessary to talk about little things like that... Y'know?
