but if you are a nerd / dork already... like a looser emo virgin, then keep it to yourself.. it will only make you more of a outcast.

Why even bother telling anyone specifically that you watch anime? thats just plain stupid lol

if it comes up in conversation then sure, why not; i guess i would mention it but just going about it all confession style is just gonna make you look bad

just gotta stay cool about, in the end its much like watching any other tv shows like Dexter or House. Im sure your friends didnt "come out" to you about those.

^this is of course just casual watcher point of view, if you got tons of figures at home and dakumakuras of which you sleep with every night i guess it might be different matter.

If somebody hated you for watching anime then they are not your friend. Those people are nothing but bullies. Just ignore them. Like I say if you like anime fine but if you hate it then let it be.
