Those episodes were what made me quit watching the anime and pick up the manga instead

The episode where Naruto's life points took a beating because his opponents power level was over 9000.
So he stabbed himself with a sword to become a shinigami and vowed to catch all the pokemon and increase his level so that Ninetails would finally listen to his commands.
