well, i tried the first episode of that xxxholic and i didn't really care for that type of anime. i really like mushishi because it kept things as real as it could for being fantasy.. know what im saying?

but i watched the thirten episodes of elfen lied, and even though it had the exaggerated emotions and actions i didnt really care for.. i overlooked them and the story wasn't bad. i kind of enjoyed that little series.

fact: Elfen Lied is awful

have you seen Princess Mononoke? it's similar to Mushishi in its use of nature and spirituality, really beautiful movie and i think it's on netflix
