marketing wise, OP is Japan's big seller.

My brother and some friends went there last week for a 1 week vacation.....and needless to say, they saw about 100 ONE PIECE related things.....and ZERO bleach/naruto related things.


Why?

Bleach and naruto just aren't even on the same level as one piece. Story wise, character wise, marketing wise, anything. For japan.

What if...

Naruto's ninjutus, bloodline limits, and genjutus were nerfed extremelyh ard and all they had was taijutsu, weaponry, summons and some other basic shit? I think the whole thing would have been way more interesting.

Then remove the shitty kid humor, the crappy side characters, irrelevant arcs and BAM. You would have a pretty good seinen.
