it was understandable then because she and renton were at the climax of their journey
example: in Ao episode 13, she is eating with Ao and says, "so good! so good!" in the most bubbly, upbeat voice imaginable. this is totally out of character for Eureka
maybe this has something to do with her splitting into fragments or losing her memories, but i'm assuming the personality change, along with many other things in Ao, is just a matter of convenience for the writers
