Hellsing is probably the best example of this i can think of. It left me craving more episodes like heroine.

1. I hate it when a anime is almost all fan service but then decides to put in the all so important bath/beach/hot spring episode Like why the fuck would I need to see them in a bikiani now that i've seen their tit's?
2. I hate fillers that are pointless flashbacks I don't mind if it is a story that has no importance to the story and what not but FLASH BACKS ARE SHIT.
3. I fucking hate it when at the end of a harem the main char doesn't pick a girl and leaves it up to the watcher to decide that's just a fucking scape goat for the writer.
4. I hate it when the main char is a perv but when half naked girl is on top of him he gets extremly nervous and won't do the obvious thing he's been thinking about...Idc if he gets sex or not but don't be a fucking perv if your a pussy.

I have a hard time getting into it, plus like what other people said, it takes a lot of commitment.
There's been some animes that I've liked, but I just can't keep up or I gradually lose interest. Same with lots of talking.

Also, I'm somewhat biased/stereotyping this, but I don't like the obsessive fans..
From my personal experiences, they're jerks or just obnoxious. Lol.
