hmm it sounds like it is a fun game to play as far as the fighting but lacking in key places
like it sounds like its ez to lvl.. idk how long it would take to hit the level cap but if you can do it in a month that sucks.. and the crafting sucks?? that should be what gives you the best items.. i'm sure there will be more to it later..
and would there be any reason to grind after you hit the level cap if the crafting is a joke??
sounds kinda disappointing for a p2p... but I am already committed to buying it thx to one of my friends so we shall see
/e I just hope its not one of those games that is trying to cover up the fact that the game sucks with awesome graphics and what ever the hell this is...

because that would be a shame from what I hear about the fighting..
crafting's mostly for .. supplementary gear. quest greens are more than good enough for casual play. any spare gear's useful for enchanting. The enchant system is p.unique, I like it. Although, definitely a gold sink.
http://atra-astrum.eu/forum/viewtopic.php?p=11751check out steparu's review, it's quite extensive.
http://steparu.com/reviews/mmo-rpg-reviews/594-tera-online-reviewaltho it's >1year old so, some of the issues have been fixed (and new content released, etc).
you get the best items from dungeons. it's possible to solo (incredibly long time) some of the earlier instances, 2man, 3man, etc. 5ppl/party cap.
but the dungeons themselves are quite fun, too. or you can grind elites for money, drops.
XP in tera, is not like.. other mmos. Or rather, ppl's perception of how XP used to work & how it works in recent games is different. You're no longer grinding xp, because it's the only thing to do in a game, but that it's more of a byproduct for *doing* other things.
Mostly, which is getting rich/shiny items. Tera's got massive gold sinks. There's always something to spend money on. 'n when you're geared out in full +12 shit, there's an end-end-endgame dungeon you can try.
