Why remake a series thats only a few years old?



I'm pretty sure that this is an anime adaption of the manga.

It is. But the manga differs on only a few points, such as what character has what name, what character has what role, etc.

And they break the rules of a few times in the orig anime, where as I'm told they didn't in the manga ?
